In about half an hour, if you live in Manhattan, you’ll get to see something that only happens once or twice a year— the day when the setting sun lines up perfectly down the east-west streets that run through Manhattan. 

If you miss today, you’re lucky, because there are several this year:

- Wednesday, May 30 at 8:16pm (full sun)
- Wednesday, July 11 at 8:24pm (full sun)
- Thursday, July 12 at 8:25pm
